Rich and toasty, our spiced hojicha is a chestnut-hued delight that tastes of dreams & dessert.
Our tea homage to Patti Smith (who wrote "Because the Night") is a full-bodied, spiced and woodsy blend. Hojicha teas are different from other Japanese green teas because they go through a roasting process which leads to their nutty earthy notes and a sepia hue. With a low caffeine content, this blend is perfect for late in the afternoon or after dinner. We add comforting spices like cinnamon and cardamom along with a handful of buckwheat (gluten-free) to up the toasty flavors. T Project is proud of this unusual blend, made from the heart and mind of a tea artist who loves flavor.
Low caffeine content.
