While strolling the streets of Taipei, I discovered many teashops and brilliant fresh teas. This one, made by infusing great tea with the osmanthus flower, is fresh with a hint of melon It's one of my chosen afternoon steeps when I need a boost finishing the day's work.
Ingredients: Taiwanese green tea, osmanthus flowers
Brewing Instructions: Steep 1-2 teaspoons tea in 8 ounces 185 degrees spring water for 2 minutes. Infuse 2 more times, increasing water temperature and steeping time slightly.
