Rich and toasty, our spiced hojicha is a chestnut-hued delight that tastes of dreams & dessert.
The foundation of our homage to Patti Smith is made from Hojicha, a unique green tea from Japan. The leaves and stems are roasted to create a warm and toasty tea with a low caffeine content, making it perfect for after dinner or late in the afternoon. We add warm spices like cinnamon and cardamom and ground buckwheat to up the toasty elements even more. This is a unique tea we are very proud of.
Ingredients: Hojicha, *buckwheat, *spices, *dried carrots & *cacao beans *organically grown
Brewing Instructions: Steep 2 teaspoons in 8-10 ounces 195 degrees spring water 2-4 minutes. Infuse 2 times.
